Request for a Airport Tax refund

Tetiba nk buat posting ni sebab dpt email ni td :)

Kisah nyer begini..Korang masih ingat posting INI? Sepatut nye 6 guests yg pergi mengepak, tp last minute salah seorang guest terpaksa "burn" je le tix memandangkan ade kesulitan utk meninggalkan ank..Takpe lh nk buat camner kn..takde rezeki..Sabar je lah kak lang yek..Insyallah tahun ini book lagi.. ;))

Ok..kalau dlu mmg agak payah la proses utk refund ni semua...But now rasa mudah je le sebab AA dh buat e-form utk claim refund ni...Tak caya? baca nih >>

I didn't board the flight. Can I request for a Airport Tax refund?

Guests can request for an airport tax refund. The refund may only be made after the date of Departure. For assistance, please fill up our e-form here. This request will then be forwarded to the relevant department for processing. Please note that this process may take up to 30 working days and will be credited to the original mode of payment for the booking. In the event there is more than 1 guest in the confirmed booking, the refund will be made to the person who made the purchase. No refunds will be made to third parties.

To ensure a smooth refund process, please provide the following details:

(a) If payment is made by credit card:
1. The Reservation/ Booking Reference Number

(b) If payment is made by Direct Debit or Cash or Travel Agent:
1. The Reservation/ Booking Reference Number
2. Bank Account Number
3. Bank Name
4. Name of Account Holder

Please be informed that guests will be charged a processing fee for refund of airport tax, as displayed in the Fee Schedule.


So, pada yg rasa miss the flight, masih boleh dpt refund lagi..tapi tu lh hanya airport tax je lah yek..Sebab tu dlm proses "booked at your own risk" ni kena la bijak...Masa booking tu just cop nama dlm flight sudah..Benda-benda lain boleh di add-on kemudian seperti seat,meal,luggage, infant (kalau ade anak kecik la) serta insurance..48 hours before departure pun boleh add..Kira memang dh sungguh sgt nk pergi la..JADI!!! kalau la di takdirkan tak boleh nk pergi, kalau hanya takat byr tix + tax tidak le byk rugi nye sgt kn...ehehhehe..
